CONSTRUCTION OF A SHELTER FOR ELDERLY PEOPLE AND PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES CONTINUES

The construction of a future shelter for elderly people and people with disabilities is steadily progressing. Every day, new stages of work bring us closer to the moment when this facility will welcome its first residents.

A significant amount of construction work has already been completed. The main structural elements of the floor have been erected, and a reinforced concrete slab has been prepared and poured, forming the foundation for the next stages of construction. Each completed milestone brings us one step closer to creating a modern environment where elderly people and people with disabilities can live in safety, comfort, and dignity.

This project has become especially important during the war.

Over the past years, thousands of Ukrainian families have been forced to leave their homes and move abroad in search of safety. Unfortunately, elderly parents are not always able to leave with their children. Due to age, health conditions, or other circumstances, many older people remain in Ukraine, often facing their challenges alone.

For some, this means loneliness. For others, it means a lack of proper care. And for many, it means coping with illness and everyday difficulties without the support of loved ones.

That is why the creation of this shelter is not only important today - it is essential. It will be a place where people can receive care, support, assistance, and the reassurance that they are not facing life's difficulties alone.

For the Christian Mission “New Life”, this project is far more than the construction of a new building. It is an opportunity to serve those who need attention and support the most. It is an investment in human dignity and in creating conditions where every person feels valued and cared for.

There is still much work ahead, but even now it is possible to see the future home taking shape - a place of safety, compassion, and hope for hundreds of people.

We sincerely thank all partners, donors, and friends of the mission who support this important project. Together, we are building more than walls.

We are building a future for those who need our help the most.
