SHELTER FOR ELDERLY PEOPLE AND PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES: CONSTRUCTION ENTERS A NEW STAGE
Construction of a new shelter for elderly people and people with disabilities is continuing in Velykyi Dalnyk, Odesa region. With each new stage, the future building is taking on a more complete form, bringing us closer to creating a modern and welcoming home for those who need special care and support.
More than 60 people currently live in the existing shelter, but the current facility no longer meets the growing needs of its residents. That is why a new specialized shelter is being built, designed for 310 residents, including 60 places for palliative care. The facility is planned to provide comfortable and dignified living conditions for elderly people, people with disabilities, and those who require special care, ongoing assistance, and support.
At this stage, construction workers are carrying out the installation of stair flights between the first and second floors, as well as the installation of the third-floor ceiling structure. Each new stage of construction brings us closer to creating a space where people can receive the care, safety, support, and dignified living conditions they need.
The construction of this shelter has become possible thanks to the support of many people. We sincerely thank everyone who supports this work through prayer and financial assistance. Your support makes it possible to continue the construction and brings us step by step closer to the day when the new home will be able to welcome its residents.
We continue building a home where there will be a place for care, dignity, safety, and hope.
