On August 7–8, the I AM UNSEEN 2026 Youth Conference took place at the Awakening Christian Center in Odesa. It brought together young people from different regions of Ukraine for two days of fellowship, new friendships, worship, prayer, and spiritual renewal.

Today, young people live at a very fast pace. Studies, work, social media, the constant flow of information, and concerns about the future create significant emotional pressure. Amid all of this, it is easy to lose the time and space needed for reflection, sincere conversations, silence, and God.

The war has made this inner pressure even stronger. Young people are growing up amid air-raid alerts, attacks, displacement, separation from loved ones, and constant uncertainty. Even as everyday life continues — studies, work, meetings with friends, and plans for the future — these experiences leave their mark.

That is why it is especially important today to create a space where young people can come together, not remain alone with their struggles, find support, and renew themselves emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.

TWO DAYS OF FELLOWSHIP AND UNITY

Throughout the conference, young people spent time together, listened to the Word of God, prayed, worshiped, met new people, and built relationships.

For some, these two days were an opportunity to make new friends; for others, a chance to reconnect with people they had not seen for a long time. And for some, it was simply an opportunity to step away from the rush of everyday life and reflect on what truly matters.

Such gatherings create an environment where young people from different cities and with different life experiences can meet, support one another, build healthy relationships, and grow together in faith.

SEEING WHAT IS UNSEEN

The central theme of I AM UNSEEN 2026 was the desire to discover the unseen side of God — to know Him more deeply than before and to learn to look beyond what is happening around us.

The vision of the conference was based on the words of the Bible:

“So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.”
2 Corinthians 4:18

At a time when circumstances around us can change very quickly, these words carry particular significance.

Faith, hope, love, inner strength, support, and a relationship with God are things that cannot be seen or measured, yet they help people endure difficult seasons and hold on to hope for the future.

YOUNG PEOPLE NEED TIME TO RENEW

A youth conference is more than a packed program lasting several days. It is an opportunity to create a healthy environment for communication, support, and the emotional, mental, and spiritual renewal of the younger generation.

Especially today, it is important for young people to have opportunities to come together, find like-minded people, build friendships, talk about what they are going through, and understand that even in difficult times, life continues and there is a future worth learning, growing, serving others, and moving forward for.

The I AM UNSEEN 2026 conference has ended, but the two days spent together left behind much more than photographs and memories.

It was a time of new friendships, unity, spiritual renewal, and an opportunity to remind ourselves once again that amid everything temporary, it is important not to lose sight of what has eternal value.

And this is not the end. There are more meetings, new friendships, and new opportunities ahead for young people from different regions of Ukraine to come together, support one another, and grow deeper in their relationship with God.
