HELP FOR THOSE WITHOUT A HOME AND IN NEED OF SUPPORT
Every day, there are people around us who need more than just food. They need attention, support, and simple human kindness. That is why, for 16 years, the “Feed the Hungry” ministry has been helping people who find themselves in difficult life circumstances.
Every day at 5:00 p.m., people gather at the railway station square to receive a hot meal and support. The number of people varies from day to day — from 20 to 60 people, usually around 30–50 people.
Among those who come are people without a permanent home, internally displaced people, elderly people, people with low incomes, and others who, because of difficult circumstances, cannot provide themselves with the necessities of life.
The ministry continues throughout the year. During the winter period, when heating tents operate at the railway station square, meals are also served there. People can receive a hot meal and warm themselves.
For us, this is not simply about distributing food. It is an opportunity to be there for a person, to see their need, extend a helping hand, and show them that they are not alone.
Over these 16 years, many things have changed — circumstances, people, and their needs. But one thing remains the same: the desire to help those who need support, care, and human warmth.
