AID FOR RESIDENTS OF THE CITY OF IRPIN, SUPPORT FOR THOSE AFFECTED BY THE WAR
AID FOR RESIDENTS OF THE CITY OF IRPIN: SUPPORT FOR THOSE AFFECTED BY THE WAR
Irpin is one of the cities in the Kyiv region that, from the first weeks of the full-scale war, experienced the consequences of hostilities, destruction, and the loss of normal life.
After everything they have gone through, many families still need support. For some, the war meant the loss of their home; for others, the loss of work, stable income, or the ability to provide their children with basic necessities.
That is why the Christian Mission “New Life” continues to provide humanitarian aid to residents of Irpin who were affected by the war and found themselves in difficult life circumstances.
HUMANITARIAN AID FOR FAMILIES IN IRPIN
This time, aid was received by large families, people with low income, families who lost stability because of the war, as well as residents who continue to rebuild their lives after the events they experienced.
For many of them, this support is not a formality, but real help in everyday life. When there are several children in a family, and money is enough only for the most necessary things, even basic items become important.
WHAT WAS PROVIDED TO THE RESIDENTS
Residents of Irpin received humanitarian kits with food products and essential hygiene items.
Such kits come in banana boxes, which are often used for packing and transporting humanitarian aid from the Netherlands. They may include long-lasting food products, personal hygiene items, soap, shampoo, toothpaste, and other necessary items for daily use.
Separately, residents received sets of bed linen, warm blankets, and bicycles.
For families without their own transport, a bicycle is practical help that makes it possible to get to a store, hospital, school, or work faster.
These things do not solve all problems at once, but they cover specific needs of people here and now: hygiene, household needs, food, warmth, sleep, and the ability to move around.
THE NEEDS REMAIN
Not all needs could be covered during this aid distribution. In particular, furniture, beds, and other items for arranging living spaces remain relevant for many families.
This is important because after the war, people are not only rebuilding houses. They are restoring everyday life, conditions for their children, the ability to live normally, sleep, prepare food, and have basic stability at home.
The Christian Mission “New Life” serves people affected by war, poverty, loss of housing, and difficult life circumstances.
Humanitarian aid is one of the areas of the mission’s ministry. Its purpose is to support those who today cannot cope with the consequences of war on their own and need practical help.
Every aid kit, every blanket, every set of bed linen, and every bicycle is a concrete response to a concrete human need.
Irpin continues to recover after the war. And aid for its residents is part of this recovery, in which the Christian Mission “New Life” continues to stand beside people who need support.
